Regional level gymnastics
An introductory program for competitive gymnastics
The regional circuit program introduces young gymnasts to competition in a safe environment supervised by a team of experienced, caring and dynamic coaches.
5 levels
Regional 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
- R1 is a category that allows for an introduction to competitions. The R1 program offers children enrolled in advanced recreational classes (Maxi-Gym) the opportunity to participate in their first competition at the Montreal Games. Training sessions are held once or twice a week, for a duration of 2 hours per session.
- R2 is a category that allows an introduction to competitions for children who have been previously selected to officially be part of a competitive succession group. Training sessions are held two to three times a week, for a duration of 3 hours per session.
- R3, R4, and R5 are categories that allow gymnasts to participate in a competition program adapted to the reality of gymnastics in the Montreal region. Training sessions are held three times a week, for a duration of 3-4 hours per session.
6 events: vaulting table, uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercises, tumbling, trampoline

Annual Events
- R1: Opportunity for children from the recreational sector, upon recommendation, to participate in their first competition: the Montreal Games;
- R2: 3 regional evaluations;
- R3/R4/R5: 3 regional selections, as well as the opportunity to participate in the Regional Challenge.
