Meritas Gala

The Merit Gala is a festive and unifying end-of-season event that aims to highlight not only the commitment and performance of athletes in the competitive sector, but also the spirit of trust and mutual support that drives our club. This evening allows us to close the gymnastics year in style.

Several awards are presented at the Merit Gala to recognize the accomplishments of our gymnasts. First, a recognition award is presented to each of them to highlight a quality they have demonstrated throughout the season. We also recognize the athletes’ performances at the finals of their category.

For the sports-study sector, a Student-Athlete Excellence Award will be presented to one gymnast per school year. To determine the winners, a multitude of academic and gymnastic criteria will be considered. A minimum overall average of 85% will be required for the student-athlete to be considered for this award.

Finally, the Gymnix club would like to highlight the exceptional performances achieved by our gymnasts throughout the season. These may include a perfect season, a perfect score, a double national crown, a first-place finish overall at a major competition, or any other performance that has had an impact on the gymnastics community.
